Overview

Our tour begins in Campo de San Stefano, where the church of the same name, in Venetian Gothic style, stands. We will know first-hand the most important and emblematic festival of Venice: the Carnivals, and we will do it next to a craft mask shop. We will visit the most important theater in the city: the Opera de la Fenicce, to learn about some of Susa's curious stories. And we will search through the labyrinth of Venetian streets for a hidden palace in a dead end: the Palacio Contarini del Bovolo. Our tour ends in San Marcos Square, where the most beautiful and well-known monuments of the city are located: the Basilica of San Marcos, the Doge's Palace or the Bridge of Sighs. There will be no shortage of gastronomic recommendations or essential places that Venice keeps.

* IMPORTANT: Groups of more than 6 people are not allowed, EVEN IF THEY COME WITH DIFFERENT RESERVATIONS, The guide may reject the admission of these groups to the tour. For groups of more than 6, we have 150 private Tours that can be booked directly with the guide.

Meeting point

Campo de San Stefano, junto a la estatua de Nicolo Tommaseo.

On arrival

You will find our guides in Campo de San Stefano, next to the statue of Nicolo Tommaseo, which is located in the center of the square. You will be able to recognize our guides because they carry a RED SIGN WITH THE WORD ÍTAKA and an official tourist guide accreditation.

Things to note

Very important information: From August 1st 2024, the Municipality of Venice requires tourist groups to wear a hearing aid during the activity. The guide will provide one at the beginning of the tour. Since it is a free tour and the hearing aid is expensive, a deposit of € 10 is required, which must be given to the guide at the beginning of the tour, and the same guide will return to you at the end when he gives you the hearing aid. It is mandatory to bring a hearing aid and pay the deposit to take the tour.
