Philosophical Walking Tour in Venice
Overview of the tour in Venice
The Philosophical Walking Tour will start at Campo San Bartolomeo, our meeting point. We will then cross Rialto Bridge and reach Rialto Market, the heart of the authentic Venetian morning life: feeling less like tourists and more like locals, we will experience the beautiful atmosphere that only an ancient market like this one can offer.
Surrounded by fresh fruit, local vegetables, and freshly caught fish, we will keep walking until the most ancient tavern in Venice: "Cantina Do Mori," opened in 1462.
We will then go back to the district ("sestiere") of San Marco and calmly walk to St. Mark's Square, home to the most important monuments in town: the Ancient and New "Procuratie", the Doge's Palace, the beautiful Marciana Library and the Bridge of Sights.
At the end of the tour, we will enjoy a delicious coffee in one of the first cafés and literary salons in the world, right under St. Mark's bell tower, surrounded by the beauty of a unique and timeless city.
This activity includes:
