Our Chinotimba township free walking tour is a cultural and traditional tour, where we will discover together more about how the locals relate socially and how they live.
We will discover the rich culture, norms, history, fun facts, stories, and useful tips about your stay in Victoria Falls and beyond.
We will visit the old market of Chinotimba Township for approx 20 minutes. I will share the history of local food which is sold there and how it is prepared.
Then, we will discover how the national sadza dish and the sadza balls are made. This will be fun for you to try. Thereafter, we will proceed on a 10-minute walk to the orphanage, the Rose of Charity, and find out about their services. After a brief hike, we will reach the Chinotimba primary school and find out more details about it before we continue our tour to the Chinotimba rank and share the stories with you there.
Then, we will head to the Mosi oa Tunya High School and Dadani schools, and I will share a brief history of them with you.
