Customer they will meet me at Avani Hotel in Windhoek every morning because our tour is always starts at 09:00 every morning.

Things to note

To my Guests: They must wear walking clothes and shoes, a Cap for the Sun, and a Bottle of water if they want to come along with it, they must carry their belongings, like a phone handbag and many things because here in Namibia we have street kids.

“Nice Tour”
The tour was worth doing it overall. However, in my opinion, it could have been a bit more critical, for example regarding the colonial era. Also, we didn’t delve too deeply into many topics.

I enjoyed a wonderful tour with Lista and James, their knowledge of the Namibian society and history was really helpful to understand what Namibia is today.

“The guide didn’t show up”
We are not giving any stars, as the guide didn’t show up at all and we were waiting for half an hour at the meeting point without getting any information. More than an hour after the tour should have been started, we then finally got an email from the company saying that Hamweenye won’t show up. Therefore one star - not recommened !

“Nice startup!”
We did the tour in December and had two guides, both very nice. We liked walking around with them and felt very safe. They knew a lot, although I noticed they’re still learning more! Keep it up guys!

“Great Tour”
I joined a free walking tour with Lista and James, who are just starting out. They brought a lot of passion and energy to the tour, making it enjoyable. With more support and experience, they’ll only get better. Looking forward to their future tours!

“Wouldn’t recommend ”
We left the tour after about 15 minutes, as it was unprofessional and unstructured and mostly contained random facts that seemed to be from Wikipedia without being put into context or a bigger story. The information that was given seemed very arbitrary and unimportant (German-Lutheran Church has induction lines for people with hearing aids). If you want to do the tour please note that the meeting point is at Avani Hotel, the location available on this website is incorrect.
