Visit to the Nazi Underground City
Overview of the tour in Wroclaw
Traces of World War II in Silesia still remain in places like the Wlodarz and Osowka tunnels.
From the center of Wroclaw we will head towards the so-called Owl Mountains, where we will access the tunnels of the Der Riese project. It is a secret plan of the Nazis, consisting of the construction of various underground galleries for the safe storage of weapons. Among them, the Osówka tunnel stands out, inside which we will discover one of the best kept secrets of the Third Reich.
Year 1943. The Old Continent is immersed in the midst of World War II. In this context, the powerful Nazi tanks are slowed down by the snow in the battle of Stalingrad, thousands of kilometers from Poland. To do? Did they have any other secret plans besides Osówka? The answer is yes: it is the Wlodarz complex, the next stop on our route.
We will visit the Wlodarz tunnels, the largest within the Der Riese project, to see firsthand what these vast underground galleries were like. Do you know how this great work of engineering was built?
