Meet your local tour guide at either 9:00 am or 2:00 pm from your hotel lobby, aboard a taxi to the circular City Wall Park to experience the local lifestyle and flavorsome snacks.
Wander along the circular City Wall Park built along the high City Wall and the deep moat, you will see many local people dancing, singing, reading, practicing Taichi, playing Pingpang, or chatting with each other, you may also have the chance to see the local opera. The thriving trees and flowers decorate the classical Chinese architecture of the wall, adding additional beauty to the city of Xian. Walk with your guide to learn Xi’an culture and history and join in local life to have fun.
Walk into the East Gate, you will come to the Yongxingfang Food Court build in the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasty, here is a perfect place for you to enjoy local Shaanxi-styled delicacies, Shaaxi Sandwich (Rou Jia Mo), Cold Noodles (Liang Pi), Dumpling Stuffed with Hot Gravy (Guan Tang Bao Zi), Honey Glutinous Rice (Feng Mi Zong Zi), etc. With your local guides accompanying you, you could enjoy delicious local snacks and get more knowledge of Xi’an cuisine.
After the tour, return to your hotel.
