If you want to learn about Zagreb's history and development, I'd happily take you on a tour of Kaptol and Gradec. These two medieval towns were the birthplace of today's Zagreb, and I'll share stories about how people used to live and what life is like now. Grič Tunnel ( WWII Tunnel )**
Ban Jelačić Square - tour ends ( in the Summer months, the tour ends on Bloody Bridge )
* The morning tour at 10.00 includes the midday cannon strike.
** Occasionally, WW2 underground tunnels might not be included in the tour during public events in the tunnel.

On arrival
The meeting point is on the Ban Jelacic square, in front of the statue of Ban Jelacic. I will be holding the ‘BeLocaL’ sign.

It is really hot in the city during the summer, so please bring water to stay hydrated.
