I'll take you through narrow, winding streets lined with old, beautifully carved wooden doors, lively bazaars, and stunning architecture influenced by Arab, Persian, Indian, and European cultures.

During your visit, you’ll explore key landmarks such as the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Sultan’s Palace. You’ll also discover the rich history behind the Anglican Cathedral, built on the site of the old slave market, and hear stories of the trade that once shaped the island’s past.

As you walk through the town, you’ll get to experience the hustle and bustle of local life, from the scent of fresh spices in the air to the sounds of vendors calling out their goods. Each street and corner has a tale to tell, giving you a sense of how this UNESCO World Heritage site has stood the test of time.

The tour begins in front of the Old Fort (Zanzibar Tourist Information Centre), opposite Forodhani Park. Let's meet in front of the Old Fort (Zanzibar Tourist Information Center). Look for a guide with a black shirt.

By Car or Taxi: Ask the driver to drop you off at Forodhani Park (In front of the Old Fort), located opposite House of Wonders.

You can extend the tour time if needed.
We can suggest local cafes, restaurants with a view, and a nice spa to relax at after the tour.
Please bring a hat, sunglasses, a bottle of water, and a camera or phone for photos.
The tour can start at any time during the day.
