Airports
There are two airports serving Berlin:
Tegal Airport – The main international airport of Berlin, about 8 Km northwest of the city centre. It has 4 terminals, A to D, is a base for Germanwings and Air Berlin and also serves Air France, British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa and United Airlines. Journey time to / from Berlin city centre is approx. 20 mins by bus (X9 / TXL) and costs €2.70. A taxi journey will cost approx. €26.
Schönefeld – 18 Km Southeast of the city centre, Schönefeld is a base for easyjet and carriers in and out of the airport include Ryanair, AerLingus and Wizzair. There are numerous bus connections between the city and Schönefeld as well as the S- Bahn and the regional train, Airport Express.
